With a background spanning architectural design, planning, and construction, I founded Zak Design+Build to bridge the gap between vision and realization. My experience bridging the divide between the design studio and the job site has shaped a practical, design-driven approach, allowing me to guide projects seamlessly from concept through completion.

Holding dual Master’s degrees in Community and Regional Planning and Urban Design & Architecture from Iowa State University, alongside a Bachelor’s in Architecture and a California General Contractor license, I bring together strategic planning, thoughtful design, and hands-on expertise. My goal is to create spaces that are functional, enduring, and deeply connected to both the individuals who use them and the communities they serve.
